Davichi Exposes Kim Kwang-soo “Forced Us Into Project with T-ara and Women’s Generation”

On Kang Min-kyung’s YouTube channel, a video documenting Davichi preparing for their concert was uploaded.
While creating the concert setlist, the duo reminisced about their past activities. Kang Min-kyung and Lee Hae-ri reflected on their project song “Blue Moon”, which they performed with SeeYa and Black Pearl. A staff member commented “I still listen to this song“, to which Kang Min-kyung replied, “Really? Isn’t this one of those ‘hidden masterpieces’?“
Another staff member mentioned the song “Wonder Woman” by Women’s Generation, a project group formed by members from Davichi, SeeYa and T-ara. The first album featured T-ara’s Jiyeon, while the second included Hyomin and Eunjung.

A different staff member suggested, “‘Wonder Woman’ has to be part of the setlist. Just hearing it makes my heart race. It’d be great to perform it with dancers, too.”
However, Lee Hae-ri pointed out, “We’ve never performed ‘My Man’ at a concert.” Kang Min-kyung then revealed, “Back when ‘My Man’ was just about to hit No.1, the CEO told us to stop promoting it.” Lee Hae-ri added, “He wanted us to focus on Women’s Generation instead.” Kang Min-kyung expressed her frustration, “I really resent the CEO for that.“

Recently, CEO Kim Kwang-soo appeared on MBN’s “Let’s Go GO Season 3” and brought up T-ara’s infamous bullying scandal again. Regarding this, Hwayoung, who had remained silent, said, “I don’t understand why such biased and distorted claims are being made about something that happened 12 years ago.” She reiterated the allegations of being bullied by T-ara members, accusing them of verbal and physical abuse. Her older sister Hyoyoung supported her claims, while former T-ara member Areum also sided with Hwayoung on Nov 18th. Areum stated, “Even after I left the group, I’ve consistently spoken out about this, but my words were often ignored. Hwayoung was particularly kind to me, and I was always grateful to her and followed her a lot. T-ara only left scars for me.”
